Miller School of Irish Dance (Australia)
From their website [1]:
School Principal, Jackie Miller, was a highly placed competitive dancer previous to sitting her teaching exam in 1988. Jackie continued to assist with her teaching skills and in 1993 decided to create her own school – The Miller School. Since its inception, the Miller School has enjoyed many successes over the years. Jackie teaches with a firm but kind nature. She believes in the dancer and encourages them to showcase their talents to the best of their ability. The Miller School is registered with the Irish Dance Commission based in Dublin and is also under the umbrella of the Australian Irish Dancing Association. “Being a good teacher does not only come from the physical or competitive aspect, but it involves dealing with and nurturing children and getting the message across firmly but patiently and with lots of fun!”
