From their website [1]:

The Munro School of Irish Dancing was founded by Kay Munro in 1964 as the Kay Munro School of Highland and Irish Dancing, in Mackay, North Queensland, Australia. We have been thrilled to be able to continue Kay’s legacy and offer Irish Dancing for beginners through to champions at every age in Mackay and the Whitsundays. We are proud to be in association with Australia’s largest Irish Dancing organisation the Australian Irish Dancing Association Inc. (AIDA) and the largest Irish Dancing organisation in the World, An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha (the Irish Dancing Commission) in Dublin, Ireland.
